Three Cs of Design: 1. Concord 2. Conflict 3. Contrast - three similar, but decidedly different, relationships of one type or size of font to another.

In her book, The Non-designer's Design Book, Robin Williams introduces the idea that blocks of type on the same page can have three basic types of relationships: concordant, conflicting, and contrasting. This section will investigate the positive and negative aspects of those relationships.
